Kent, England, Jul 5 (UNI) Jeev Milkha Singh slipped to the tied 17th place after scoring an even par 72 in the second round of the European Open here.
Jeev, who had shot 68 in the first round, sank birdies on the fifth, eight, 15th and dropped bogeys on the seventh, 11th and 14th during the second round yesterday.
His overall score stands at four under 140 at the moment and he trails the second round leader, England's Ross Fisher by nine strokes.
Other Indians in the fray, Jyoti Randhawa and SSP Chowrasia, on the other hand, failed to make the cut of one under 143.
Randhawa (74, 73) ended the tournament in tied 99th place with a total of three over 147.
The Chandigarh pro's second round included birdies on the eighth, 12th, 18th and bogeys on the first, fifth, ninth and 11th.
SSP Chowrasia (83, 78) totaled 17 over 161 at the end of round two to be placed 152nd.
