Left, Cong diverting nation's attention : BJP
Jaipur, Jul 4 (UNI) The BJP today alleged that the political moves being made by the Congress and Left parties, over the Indo-US nuclear deal, were aimed at diverting the nation's attention from the prevalent price rise and spiralling inflation.
Talking to reporters here, party spokesman and former union minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy said the Left Parties had always been practicing politics of ''double speak''and "dual character", for drawing maximum possible political mileage out of their support to the UPA government at the Centre.
Expressing concern over the price rise and inflation, the BJP leader said Congress supremo Sonia Gandhi, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Finance Minister P Chidambaram were responsible for the prevailing "economic anarchy" in the country.
He also demanded issuance of a White Paper on the economic status of the country.
