Hisar, Jul 4 (UNI) The Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) has decided to release new connections to all low tension (LT) industrial and non domestic (NDS) connections having load more than 20 kilowatt by installing dedicated transformers.
The connections of saw mills, rice mills, ice factories, ice-cream factories, plastic and rubber manufacturing units irrespective of their load shall also be released with dedicated (separate) distribution transformer.
A spokesman of DHBVN said here today that all existing LT industrial consumers and NDS consumers with connected load greater than 35 KW and the existing industrial connections would also be provided with individual dedicated distribution transformers.
The cost of the transformer and metering equipment in case of new connections shall be borne by the consumer as per prevailing instructions of the Nigam. However, in case of existing connections, the cost of the transformers, DT meter and other expenses of the scheme shall be borne by the Nigam.
In the first phase, the existing consumers having load above 50 KW and the above industrial connections irrespective of their load will be provided the dedicated transformers with DT meter by December 31, 2008.
While, such connections having load from 35 to 50 KW will be covered in second phase to complete the work by March 31, 2009.
