Canara bank hikes deposit rates by 50 to 125 basis points
Mumbai, July 4 (UNI) Canara Bank today announced increase in its domestic term deposit interest rates by 50 basis points to 125 basis points on various maturities, effective tomorrow.
The revised rates, according to a release from the bank, are: For tenors 91 days to 179 days - from 6.00 to 7.00 per cent: 180 days to less than 1 year - from 7.00 to 8.25 per cent: 1 year to less than 2 years - from 8.25 to 9.50 per cent : 2 years to less than 3 years - from 8.75 to 9.50 per cent: 3 years to less than 5 years - from 8.50 to 9.00 per cent and 5 years and above - from 8.50 to 9.00 per cent.
The Bank was also offering 0.50 per cent more for Senior Citizens on the revised rates.
