378 rural medical assistants in Chhattisgarh
Raipur, July 4 (UNI) In order to overcome shortage of doctors in rural areas, the Chhattisgarh government has initiated the process to recruit students of three-year medical syllabus for 378 posts of Rural Medical Assistants in 12 districts.
The Health Department, in a notification, said the medical assistants would be entitled to treat petite and general diseases, but barred from conducting postmortem and medical examination.
Medical Assistants can treat bacteria infection, malaria, viral infection, typhoid, anaemia, measles, asthma and similar diseases.
