Two LeT militants holed up in a house in Kashmir
Srinagar, Jul 3 (UNI) Sharp shooters have taken position around a house where two militants of Pakistan based Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) were holed up since early this morning in south Kashmir.
Official sources said Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police launched a search operation at village Naina Batapora in the south Kashmir district of Pulwama following a tip off about the presence of militants there.
When the SOG personnel were about to storm a particular area, militants opened fire.
The security person retaliated but the militants entered a house.
Later, reinforcement was rushed to the area from nearby camps and cordon around the particular house was further tightened.
They said two LeT militants were reportedly inside the house and they were being persuaded to surrender.
