TDP leaders, workers arrested
Hyderabad, Jul 3 (UNI) The Opposition TDP leaders and workers were arrested today when they tried to enter the venue, where Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy was presiding over Collectors conference, demanding the government to solve the common man's problems.
The party workers were proceeding towards the Jubilee hall from the Indira park. When they were about to reach the venue, police forces prevented them and took them into preventive custody.
The TDP activities were agitating against the government for not solving the problems, including the hike of fuel prices, scarcity of fertilisers and seeds, faced by the people in the state.
