Rs 1,200 cr for PMGSY projects in J
Srinagar, Jul 3 (UNI) An amount of Rs 1,200 crore would be spent on 421 projects under Prime Minister Grahmeen Sarak Yojna (PMGSY) in Jammu and Kashmir, an official spokesman said today.
He said the work on these projects under phase 6th was in full swing across the state. Of these, 219 projects are being executed in Jammu province, while 210 in Kashmir province.
He said the all executing engineers had been directed to complete projects within stipualted time period.
The chief engineer, PMGSY, had also been asked to personally monitor the execution of work in all the districts so that the funds allotted for the schemes could be utilised judiciously, he said.
About
the
projects
taken
under
5th
phase
and
fast
track
programme,
he
added
the
concerned
agencies
had
been
directed
to
complete
them
at
the
earliest.
