Revocation of SASB order is ''unconstitutional'': Panthers
Jammu, Jul 3 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) today dubbed the Cabinet decision of revoking the order of transfer of SASB land absolutely ''unconstitutional'' and void.
Legislative member of the party Harsh Dev Singh while addressing mediapersons here said constitutionally in minority, the government was not authorised to hold a Cabinet meeting and revoke the order.
''Jammu and Kashmir governor N N Vohra should seriously intervene into the matter and dismiss the present government. If they fail to do so, JKNPP will go to court,'' Mr Singh said.
''Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad will fail to prove majority on July 7 and it is confirmed that the government will collapse,'' the senior leader of Panthers Party said.
''Congress has now jumped into the horse trading and making all efforts to buy MLAs to prove majority. Panthers MLA from Samba district, Yashpal Kundal was tempted and then intimidated by the Congress and on his denial, he was arrested and jailed,'' Mr Singh alleged.
The Panthers leader said Jammu and Kashmir government is resorting to state terrorism now and they will face the music.
''Revocation of order is null and void and 800 kanals of land that belonged to Shrine Board, should be returned back,'' Mr Singh added asserting,'' the Amarnath row is unprecedented and the fire on this issue has spread in the country.'' However, Mr singh said the dissolution of Azad-led government would be in the interest of the nation and Panthers want ouster of this government and immediate revocation of the order.
