Srinagar, Jul 3: Security forces killed both the militants of Pakistan based Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) who were holed up in a house at South Kashmir since this morning.
Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police launched a search operation at village Naina Batapora in the south Kashmir district of Pulwama following a tip-off about the presence of the militants there.
Official sources said when the SOG personnel were about to storm a particular area, the militants opened fire.
The security personnel retaliated but the militants entered a house.
Later, reinforcement was rushed to the area from nearby camps and cordon around the particular house was further tightened.
Both the holed up militants, one of them reportedly a commander, were killed.
