TN Govt's clarification on cable TV control room
Chennai, Jul 2 (UNI) The Tamil Nadu Government today said setting up a separate control room for Arasu Cable Corporation in Madurai district was technically not possible and it would get the feed from Tirunelveli district.
An official release here said the control room in Tirunelveli would give cable connections to Tirunelveli, Tuticorin,Kanniyakumari, Virudhunagar, Ramanathapuram, Sivaganga, Madurai and Theni districts from August 15.
It said Digital High End boxes were received from abroad and were being sent to control rooms in Coimbatore, Tirunelveli and Thanjavur.
It may be recalled M K Azhagiri, son of Chief Minister M Karunanidhi, had recently started Royal Cable Vision, an MSO to provide cable connections in Madurai and Southern Districts.
