Ranchi arms smuggler held in Vadodara with fire arms
Vadodara, Jul 2 (UNI) Sleuths of the city crime branch have arrested an arms smuggler from Ranchi and seized from him a foreign-made pistol and 20 live catridges here.
Crime branch police, who have launched a special drive against anti-social elements ahead of Friday's 'Rath Yatra' in the city, nabbed Jogindersingh Munda along with his one local accomplice, Ratilal Rathod, while the duo were moving in a suspicious manner at Savli Road late last night.
Besides the fire arm valued at Rs 95,000, police had also seized two cellphones from them, crime branch sources said.
Today, the duo were produced before a local court, which remanded them to the crime branch police custody for three days.
