Maoist ultras blow up railway tracks in North Bihar
Chhapra, Jul 2 (UNI) CPI (Maoist) guerrillas today blew up two feet of railway tracks between Abtar Nagar and Badagopal railway stations under East Central railway, disrupting the movement of trains on the route.
Deputy Manager (Operation) Dilip Kumar told reporters that Maoists triggered the explosion between Abtarnagar and Badagopal railway stations, uprooting two feet of railway tracks on the route.
Bomb squads had reached the spot to neutralise the live bombs left behind by the Maoists on the tracks.
''Senior officers and technical personnel have reached the spot and repair of the railway tracks is on to restore the movement of trains on the route as soon as possible,'' he added.
