New Delhi, Jul 2 (UNI) Sponge iron maker Godawari Power and Ispat Ltd today said it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Chhattisgarh government for setting-up of a cement plant at Rs 628 crore.
The plant, comprising of two million tonnes per annum (MTPA) capacity of cement and one MTPA capacity of clinker, will also have 50 MW power capacity.
The total cost of the project is envisaged at Rs 628 crores, company said in statement.
The project will be implemented through a special purpose vehicle (SPV) to be incorporated after allotment of limestone mines by the state government.
