New Delhi, Jul 2: The Delhi Public School (DPS) in Noida, where Aarushi studied, reopened after six week summer vacations on Tuesday, July 1. Aarushi was a Class 9 student of this school, her murder on May 16, shocked students and teachers.
A special prayer was held for murdered teen Aarushi Talwar at school on Tuesday even as her schoolmates and their parents seemed only too aware of the media attention on the case. The special prayer was held during the morning assembly. The school also observed a one-minute silence in her memory. Students coming to the school were aware of the huge media spotlight on the case, which has been splashed on the front pages of newspapers as the Noida double murder.
Aarushi family's domestic help Hemraj, who was initially suspected to be behind her killing, was also found murdered at their Noida home.
While the school reopens , school authorities say that the main focus would now be to put aside the memories of Aarushi murder case and to help their students start anew
Mean while investigation into the case has only turned murkier with every passing day and the CBI has not even been able to establish a motive behind her murder.
