Hyderabad, Jul 01 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy today reviewed department-wise issues to be taken up with the Collectors at the district Collectors conference being held on July 2 and 3, with the head of the departments, Special Secretaries and Secretaries.
According to an official release here, Dr Reddy was told by the officials that by and large, there were no problems and enough quantities of seeds were being stocked in every district. Besides, he would ask the Collectors to take special care of Ranga Reddy, Medak and Adilabad districts in supplying the fertilizers to the farmers.
The Collectors would be told that additional 1.6 lakh acres will be brought under horticulture.
Expressing happiness for achieving 12 per cent growth in milk production, Dr Reddy wanted more milk parlours to be opened throughout the state and he was likely flag off milk parlours in tricycles run by handicapped during the conference.
The Collectors would be told in the conference that bank linkage should be throughly established for grounding of milch animals under Pasu Kranthi Patham.
