Mumbai, Jul 1: Two persons, including a woman, were killed and another was injured in rain-related incidents in the neighbouring Thane district, while a teenager feared drowned here in the metropolis today.
Satish and Pushpa were killed after the wall of their house collapsed, following incessant rains early this morning at Gutali Pada in Ambernath of Thane district. A third person, Ratna, suffered injuries. A 15-year-old boy was feared drowned in the Poisar Nullah at Kandivali. The boy had gone for a swim along with his friends this morning. He has not been traced yet, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation's disaster management control room sources said.
Meanwhile, a number of tree uprooting incidents were reported from various parts of the city. There have been electrical short circuiting cases as well, fire brigade sources said.
