Zeba's teenage son becomes youngest director of a film
Panaji, June 30 (UNI) Inspired by his mother Zeba Bakhtiyar, Pakistan's veteran film actress, 14-year-old Azan has become the youngest director of the film ''Meri Kahani'' shot in the neighbouring country.
The 40-minute film, with focus on youth and their problems in the changing society with different styles of parenting, was screened here this afternoon on the concluding day of the 4-day South Asian Film Festival.
Talking to mediapersons here today, Azan said he had also edited the film besides composing music for it. His ambition was to come up the ladder in the film industry like his mother.
He was here along with his mother to participate in the SAFF organised by the South Asia Foundation in collaboration with the Entertainment Society of Goa.
The teenager was earlier introduced to the media by Mr Rahul Barua,secretary general of the SAFF amid thunderous applause.
