Jammu, June 30 (UNI) Following tense situation in Jammu and Kashmir, the state Oil Tankers Association has ''stopped'' supplying petroleum products to Kashmir, sources here today said.

The members of state oil tankers association have decided to discontinue the regular supply of oil and petroleum products to Srinagar.

''We were continuously supplying petroleum products to the Valley despite agitation but the protestors ransacked and damaged the window panes of tankers, which forced us to cut off from the Valley,'' J&K Oil Tankers Association General Secretary Devinder Singh told UNI.

Mr Singh said that there would be no supply of petroleum products and tankers would not ply on the roads unless normalcy is restored in the Valley.

However, sources said many other associations and organisations, may disrupt supply of essential commodities and other goods to Kashmir following the ongoing agitation in Jammu and Kashmir.
