Cong misinterpreting Advani's ''unbiased'' attitute
Lucknow, June 30 (UNI) Defending the Bharatiya Janata Party's Prime Ministerial candidate Lal Krishan Advani over his statement in a rally in Kanpur on Friday, the party Uttar Pradesh unit vice president Hridaya Narayan Dixit today said their leader was being misinterpreted by the opposition and discarded any possiblity of alliance with the ruling BSP and SP in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
The BJP vice-president here told the mediapersons that both SP and BSP were same in principle and their was no possibility of tying-up with any of them.
Recalling the statement of Mr Advani in the rally, Mr Dixit said Mr Advani had said during the NDA government, they had made no discrimination with the others and would follow the same pattern in its next regime.
The senior BJP leader clearly stressed upon his ''unbiased'' attitude towards others, he did not say anything regarding the alliance with the Mayawati government or any other party, Mr Dixit maintained.
Making a scathing attack on the Congress, he said Congress escalated Mr Advani's statement in a wrong way. The party was earlier pamparing Mayawati and now was after Mulayam Singh to save its defeat in the parliamentary election, he added.
Hinting over the possible SP and congress alliance, he said the nexus between the two parties was clearly came up in the last few months, however, earlier, during his regime in UP, SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav had charged the Congress for plotting against its government, he alleged.
