London, Jun 30 : Welsh singer Charlotte Church's baby daughter was christened in a small family ceremony on June 30.
Church and rugby player Gavin Henson took 9-month-old Ruby Megan Henson to St Mary of the Angels Church in Cardiff for the christening.
The baby was carried in a carrycot covered with a white blanket, and Henson was seen wearing a navy suit while pregnant Church was in a cream coat.
The couple had arrived separately at the Roman Catholic Church in Kings Road, in the upmarket Pontcanna area of the city, and was accompanied by close friends and family, who arrived in three cars with blacked out windows at 1.30pm.
During the 40-minute service seven security guards stood outside its doors, with rumours that the two have done a magazine deal with pictures of the event.
Church, who last week announced she is expecting her second child, was one of the last to leave the building, with her mother Maria and the family is believed to have gone from the christening to a party at the farmhouse Church and Henson share in St Brides Major.
Father Christopher Delaney, who christened baby Ruby in a stone font at the back of the church.
"It was a really lovely service," the Sun quoted him as saying.
A handful of well-wishers gathered to watch the celebrities leave the church.
