Srinagar, Jun 29 (UNI) The State Committee of the Communist Party of India (M) is meeting here this afternoon to discuss the overall political situation in the wake of withdrawal of support from the Congress led coalition government by Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Jammu and Kashmir.

We are meeting this afternoon to discuss the latest political situation, CPI(M) state secretary Mohammad Yousuf Targami told UNI today.

He said our party was extending issue based support to the coalition government from outside till now. The situation has changed and we have to discuss all the things afresh, he said.

The CPI(M) from the very first day was demanding the land transfer order to Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) should be revoked.

Expressing concern over the death and injuries to people during the past six days' demonstrations against the land deal, Mr Targami said the government should have revoked the order in the interest of peace and communal harmony.

When asked if the CPI(M), having two members in the house, will continue issued based support to Azad government, Mr Targami said let us discuss the issue in the meeting.
