Srinagar, Jun 29: The core group of National Conference (NC), main opposition party in Jammu and Kashmir, will meet here this afternoon to discuss the overall political situation arising in the wake of withdrawal of support and from Congress led coalition ministry by People's Democratic Party (PDP).
The core group will be meeting to discuss the latest political situation in the state, leader of the NC in the Legislative Assembly Abdul Rahim Rather told the sources.
He said everything will be discussed in the meeting where members of the core group will express their views on all issues.
Mr Rather said the core group meeting will be followed by legislature party meeting.
However, he said, the time of the legislature party meeting has not been fixed yet as it will depend on the completion of core group meeting.
Mr Rather said if the core group meeting will not be completed today, the legislature party meeting will be held tomorrow.
Mr Rather alleged that PDP was equally responsible for the land transfer to Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) and now they wanted to escape from the scene.
He claimed that the PDP was also responsible for diluting state subject laws.
