Bangalore, June 29 (UNI) Following is the summary of observations recorded in weather office here at 0830 hrs today.

Monsoon was active over Coastal Karnataka. and South Interior Karnataka. Rainfall occurred at a few places over North Interior Karnataka.

Rainfall amounts (cm) Kollur 16, Agumbe 14, Bajpe 13, Panambur 12 Kota 11 Udupi 9, Mudibidre, Mulki, Mani, Bhatkal 8 each, Dharmasthala, Karkala, Kundapur, Shirali, Bhagamandala, Kottigehara 7 each, Gerusoppa, Sringeri, Kammardi 6 each, Ankola, Talaguppa, Tyagarthi, Humchadakatte 5 each, Madikeri, Napoklu, Virajpet, Anavatti, Honavar 4 each.

Forecast valid until Tuesday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at most places over Coastal Karnataka and at many places over Interior Karnataka. .

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Moderate to rather heavy rain likely to occur at most places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka and over Shimoga, Kodagu, Chikmagalur and Hassan districts of South Interior Karnataka. Light to moderate rain likely to occur at many places over all the districts of North Interior Karnataka and remaining districts of South Interior Karnataka.

Heavy to very heavy rain likely to occur at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and ghat areas of South Interior Karnataka during next 48 hours.

Forecast for Bangalore city: Generally cloudy sky. Surface winds will be strong and gusty at times. Light rain likely.
