Madikeri, (Karnataka) Jun 29 (UNI) In a heart rendering incident a village woman who went into forest in search of cows lost her way after encountering wild bisons bravely and spent two horrible nights before seeing lights of human habitation in Galibedu village was reported here today.
M K Saraswathy (45) wife of Muddanda Cariappa of Galibeedu village had gone to forest on 25th of this month in search of her cows however came across a hurds of bisons.
The fear-striken Saraswathy managed to divert the attention of the menacingly approaching bisons thanks to brave attempt of her three pet dogs who also accompanied her into the forest.
The lady after managing to rescue herself from the attack of bisons however lost her way and slipped into deep forest braving monsoon rains in the sky and biting leaches in the surface.
The hapless Saraswathy spent two days and nights deep inside the forest and tried her best to locate her way to her village. The three pet dogs who saved her life also gone out of her touch rendering the woman wade lonely in search of human habitation.
After wondering for two days and nights amidst the torrential rains the woman was noticed by a labourer of Koynad area and seeing her pathetic condition took her to home and treated and served foods.
The ordeal of the woman came to an end when the hosts also helped her to contact her family members in Gaalibeedu, who were also in tension after her disappearance.
Saraswathy's husband Cariappa tried to lodge a missing complaint of his wife however treated rudely by the police personnel. The police who have refused to register a case also demanded to provide his wife's photograph.
The Panchayath president of Koynad village hearing the ordeal of Saraswathy sent message to Gaalibeedu and also got admitted her to Hospital where she was recovering.
The bold Saraswathy who braved two days and nights inside the deep forest was however has deep sense of sorrow for her three pet dogs which were missed in deep woods.
