Lucknow, Jun 28 (UNI) Incessant rain lashing most of the regions in Uttar Pradesh has not only thrown life out of gear, but is also creating havoc with waterborne diseases spreading in several districts of the State.
Heavy rains that wetted the State capital today brought the humidity level remarkably down, and posed hardship for the officer goers.
About four meters long railway track at Govindnagar station submenged in water due to the continuees rainfall, disrupting the regular traffic at Lucknow-Gorakhpur route for about several hours.
Besides, thunder showers stranded many people and vechicles at various regions in the 'city of Nawabs.' According to reports from Banda, waterborne diseases like cholera, diarrhoea and Japanese Encephalitis (JE)have spread in many district of Bundelkhand.
About 100 people had been admitted to the hospitals in Bundelkahnad and several eastern UP districts.
In Gorakhpur, over 32 JE patients were admitted to Baba Raghvdas Medical college.
Meanwhile, Flood threat continued to loom large on several districts of Uttar Pradesh, following incessant rainfall that were making several big and small rivers how above the danger mark.
