Twin brothers join police force together
Kannur, Jun 28: Right from their birth, K V Rajesh and K V Suresh have many things in common and now the profession too.
The twin brothers who studied together in school and college, would now join the police force together.
They were among the 392 trainees, who were inducted as police constables today. Kerala Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan reviewed the passing out parade of the 15th batch of the Kerala Armed Police fourth battalion held at Mangattuparamba here.
The twin brothers from Kasaragod district, aged 30 years, studied in the same class and secured a BA degree. They were later employed as teachers at a private college at Cheruvathur. But when the students found it difficult to distinguish between them, Suresh started wearing pants and Rajesh used dhotis.
Though Rajesh got an appointment letter from the Kerala Fire Force, he did not join because his brother could not secure that job.
However, both managed to get a job in the Police Department in another PSC examination.
