US Senate approves $150 mn grant for Pakistan
Washington, Jun 28: The United States Senate has approved a 150 million dollar grant for Pakistan to be spent in part on the rehabilitation and development of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas. The fresh assistance is part of US supplemental budget measures to support war efforts in 2009, The Daily Times reported.
Earlier, the House of Representatives had approved the bill. It will become law after it is signed by President George W Bush.
