Nitish and Lalu indulging in vote bank politics: NCP
Patna, Jun 28 (UNI) The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) today charged Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Railway Minister Lalu Prasad with indulging in vote bank politics.
NCP Bihar unit general secretary Navin Kumar Singh said here the so-called development-oriented leaders were actually working for their own personal intrest.
''Mr Kumar on one hand was confusing the voters by showing them development dreams, while Mr Prasad on the other hand was trying to keep his minority vote bank intact by scaring the community with the BJP card,'' he said.
''Both Mr Kumar and Mr Prasad will have to face the consequences in the next elections, as the duo since long were misleading the voters. But, the people are now fully aware of their real intentions and cannot be fooled any more,'' he added.
NCP is emerging as a strong contender in the state by gaining the confidence of the common people, Mr Singh said.
