New Delhi, Jun 28 (UNI) In a 6th such incident in the last two months, a hoax bomb call at Chawri Bazar metro station kept the entire route affected for nearly half-an-hour.
Police said a call claiming that a bomb had been planted at the Chawri Bazar metro station was received at about 1430 hrs at Hauz Kazi police station.
Soon the station was cordoned off at about 1445 hrs and after more than an hour of search it was declared a 'hoax call' at 1552 hrs.
Trains on the Central Secretariat-Vishuavidyalaya route were affected for 23 minutes, with as many as six trains skipping the Chawri Bazar station altogether.
No arrests have been made so far. Search was still on to nab the caller, police added.
