Prez Patil to offer prayers at Mahakaleshwar temple tomorrow

Ujjain, MP, Jun 27 (UNI) President Pratibha Patil would offer prayers and perform rituals at the world-famous Mahakaleshwar temple in the town tomorrow, after paying a courtesy visit to her brother's residence.

After arriving here by helicopter at 0925 hours tomorrow, Ms Patil, who is on a four-day visit to Madhya Pradesh, would visit her brother R N Patil's residence at Ravindra Nagar and stay there till 1145 hrs.

As per official information, Ms Patil will offer prayers and perform rituals at the temple from 1200-1245 hrs. She would also stay at the Circuit House for 20 mins before departing for Indore at 1340 hrs.

Elaborate security arrangements have been made and senior officials were assigned duties at different places in view of the President's visit.

Common devotees would not be allowed in the temple for one hour during Ms Patil's visit to the temple.
