Konkan Railway to run 48 special trains for Ganpati festival

Mumbai, Jun 27 (UNI) The Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) today announced that to ease the heavy rush of passengers, it will run 48 special trains for Ganpati festival between Mumbai and Madgaon from August 20.

According to a KR release here, 0105 Dn special train will run ex-Dadar from August 29 to September six and again from September eight to September 14. The train will leave Dadar at 0035 hours and reach Madgaon at 1510 hours.

0106 Up special train will run ex-Madgaon from August 29 to September six and again from September eight to September 14. It will leave from Madgaon at 1540 hours and reach Dadar at 0500 hours next day.

0107 Dn unreserved special train will run ex-Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) every alternate day from August 29 to September 12 and 0108 Up will run ex-Madgaon every alternate day from August 30 to September 13.

The train will leave CST at 2355 hours and reach Madgaon at 1410 hours next day, while on return journey, 0108 Up will leave from Madgaon at 1440 hours and reach CST at 0420 hours next day, the release added.
