India should not sign nuclear deal: Joshi
Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Jun 27 (UNI) Senior Shiv Sena leader and former Maharashtra chief minister, Manohar Joshi today said India should not sign nuclear deal with the US, as it would result in risking our autonomy.
Mr Joshi, who arrived here for canvassing for Shiv Sena candidate Raju Vaidya, from Marathwada Graduates Constituency, told mediapersons, ''If we sign the Nuclear Deal, American delegations would visit India frequently, on the pretext of inspection''.
He also said the Shiv Sena would oppose any move to ban Sanatan Prabhat and Hindu Janjagruti Sanghatna by the State Government.
He lamented that BJP and Shiv Sena, who have alliance in the State-level, should have aligned with each other in the Marathwada graduate constituency elections.
''Shiv Sena has no threat from Raj Thackeray's Maharashtra Navnirman Sena,'' he said.
