The doomed flight that ended up into a fishing trip!
London, June 27 : A British pilot was forced to land his Piper aircraft in a fishing lake after loosing power.
Jersy Chudzyicqi crash landed his 40,000 pounds aircraft clipping through trees, belly-flopped on the lake and slowly sank 10ft to the bottom.
The 59-year-old pilot was escaped unhurt and was rescued by fire crews.
"I heard a funny noise like the sound the engines make in Star Wars films," The Sun quoted Eddie Ricketts, from Chippenham, who was fishing nearby, as saying.
"As it went through the hedge it sounded like a big bit of wood in a chipper machine.
"There was a flash of light across the trees, then a big rush of water and a big wave came out of the lake. We ran down and the bloke was sitting on top of his plane," he added.
