Karachi, Jun 27 (UNI) Praising his boys for the convincing six-wicket victory against arch-rivals Pakistan, Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni said is 'Men in Blue' will aim to maintain an all-win record in the ongoing Asia Cup.
''We have to win all our matches for we want to carry the momentum to the final. I'm happy with the bowlers' performance, while the batsmen are also on song. We did drop a couple of catches but it happens at times,'' Dhoni told mediapersons after the match here yesterday.
Team India skipper felt that Pakistan's total of 299 was inadequate given the belter of a track at the National Stadium.
''I always knew that a target of 300 here was always chase-able.
The track was fantastic, one of the best in Pakistan. All we needed was a good start...maybe 340-350 would have been the right score,'' Dhoni said.
''Besides, they lost Umar Gul (who bowled only 1.2 overs before leaving the field with rib muscle injury) and it was hard luck for Shoaib,'' he added.
India will now take on Bangladesh here tomorrow in the first match of the Super Four stage.
