B'desh Law Adviser injured in accident

Dhaka, Jun 27 (UNI) Bangladesh caretaker government's Law Adviser AF Hasan Ariff, his personal staff and gunmen were injured in a road accident in Manikchhari of Khagracchari hill district of southeastern Bangladesh this afternoon.

The accident occurred when the Adviser's car overturned as the driver lost control of its steering.

Mr Ariff was returning to Chittagong after a meeting with a cross section of people in Khagracchari.

The Law Adviser suffered minor injuries on his head and hand.

His gunmen and driver were also injured in the accident.

Following the mishap, local people rescued all the injured and admitted them to the Manikchhari health complex where they received first aid.
