Talwar's bail plea rejected, counsel says will appeal in HC
New Delhi, Jun 26 (UNI) A district and sessions court in Ghaziabad today rejected the bail plea of Dr Rajesh Talwar, one of the accused in the Aarushi murder case in neighbouring Noida.
District Judge N K Jain after hearing the arguments from both sides rejected the bail plea of Dr Talwar on grounds that the CBI had not given a 'clean chit' to him.
In his argument Talwar's counsel Satish Tamta said since the investigation agency has made Krishna an accused, Dr Talwar should be released.
To this the CBI counsel said this should not be done as investigations are still on and Talwar's release could affect the investigation process.
The CBI also argued that it was a blind case and they needed more information to unravel the mystery behind the twin murders.
On the other hand, Dr Talwar's wife Nupur told the court that she, along with her husband, was ready for the narco test to come out clean.
Later, Talwar's counsel said they would appeal in the High Court against today's rejection of the bail plea.
