SBI hikes BPLR by 50 bps to 12.75 pc
Mumbai, June 26 (UNI) India's largest lender State Bank of India today raised its Benchmark Prime Lending Rates (BPLR) by 50 basis points, with effect from tomorrow.
SBI would be the first public sector bank to revise the rate, by increasing it to 12.75 per cent from existing 12.25 per cent, after the Reserve Bank of India hiked its key short term lending rate by the same range of 50 bps.
