Raj refuses to comment on Narke's article
Nashik, Jun 26 (UNI) Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray today refused to react to an article in ''Rashtrawadi'' that has questioned Thackeray family's Maharashtra roots.
''On how many things should I react?'' Mr Thackeray asked while answering a question regarding the article that was published in ''Rastrawadi'', the Nationalist Congress Party's mouthpiece, recently.
The article, written by historian Hari Narke, has claimed that the Thackeray family itself is an outsider in Maharastra and, so, how could they take an anti-migrants stand in the state? Raj Thackeray was on a two-day tour to the district and visited Probodhankar Thackeray media centre but refused to take questions saying he had nothing new to say.
Meanwhile, extending his greetings to Nashik ''Radio Mirchi'' and in his message to the youths here, Raj Thackeray said, ''Remain awake and alert against intruders. Keep the Marathi spirit and pride alive.'' On being inormed that Radio Mirchi does not play Marathi songs, Raj urged the radio channel to do so.
