OIC has no locus standi to comment on J and K : India
New Delhi, Jun 26 (UNI) India today rejected Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) resolution on Jammu and Kashmir, adopted at the 35th Session in Kampala, saying the organisation (OIC) had no locus standi on India's internal matters.
''We note with regret that the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers has once again chosen to comment upon Jammu and Kashmir and India's internal affairs in the Declaration and Resolutions adopted by it at it 35th session held at Kampala during June 18-20,'' an External Afairs Ministry spokesman said here today.
The spokesman said Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India and the OIC has no locus standi in this and other matters concerning India's internal affairs.
''We reject all such references/resolutions,'' the spokesman added.
