UP woman finds place in Limca Book of Records
Lucknow, June 25 (UNI) Dr Madhurima Lall, a woman reader at Lucknow University has brought laurels to both the ''City of Nawabs'' and the varsity by entering her name in the Limca Book of Records as ''the most highly qualified person'' in the field of academics in India.
Dr Lall, has been accredited for holding two Doctor of Letters (D Litt) degree in Applied Economics and Business Administration.
''From childhood, I was fond of studies...it was my single-minded passion and God made my dream come true,'' an elated Dr Lall said while addressing mediapersons here today.
''I believe hard work is always paid...only, one should never stop working with zeal,'' the Lucknow University (LU) reader observed.
''The achievement has left me more confident and now, I wish to bag the prestigious Guinness Book of World Record by completing the third D Litt degree in Commerce,'' Dr Lall added.
''The literacy rate is still very low in our country and we need to pat the education sector the most,'' she noted.
