Puducherry, Jun 25 (UNI) In the backdrop of prevailing political situation in the Union Territory, the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) today held its legislature party meeting.
According to party sources, the meeting chaired by party convener R V Janakiraman discussed the prevailing political situation and took a decision that N Rangasamy should continue as Chief Minister.
The meeting also decided to meet DMK President and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi tomorrow to apprise him about the political situation in the Union Territory.
All the five legislators from Puducherry region attended the meeting.
Mr A M H Nazeem and V M C Sivakumar from Karaikal region informed over phone that they would abide by any decision taken at the meeting, the sources added.
