Melbourne, June 25 : Aussie singer Natalie Bassingthwaighte has parted ways with her electro pop band Rogue Traders for a solo career.
The 32-year-old actress-turned-singer moved to Los Angeles last month to pursue a movie career and work on a solo album.
Bandmate James Ash confirmed the official split, saying the band will carry on without their leading lady.
"As Nat's career choices are taking her in new and exciting directions, she won't be able to be a part of the Rogue Traders," Courier Mail quoted Ash, as saying.
"We part company as best friends, with a deep love and respect for each other and what we have achieved over the last three and a half years," he added.
