MISA detenus national convetion in MP town
Indore, Jun 25 (UNI) The national convention of Maintenance of Internal Security Act (MISA) detainees would be held at New Delhi on June 26.
''Thousands of MISA detenus, Chief Ministers of several states and many non-Congress political leaders would take part in the convention,'' said MISA detainees organisation Loktantra Rakshak Sangh Convenor Gopal Kasera.
He said the Convenor of the convention would be MP Hari Kewal Prasad and all the leaders which were detained under MISA during emergency would be invited.
''Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, Union Steel and Mine Minister Ramvilas Pawasn, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Uttranchal Chief Minister Bhuwan Chandra Khanduri, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Premkumar Dumal, Punjab Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal will take part,'' he said, adding that former union minister George Fernandi, Haryana former chief minister Om Prakash Choutala, Delhi former chief minister Madanlal Khurana and other leaders would also mark their presence.
City-based MISA detainees would also be present, he added.
