Gold December 08 contract rises

Mumbai, June 25 (UNI) Gold December 08 contract went up by 0.62 per cent to Rs 12,704 per 10 grams, at the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) today.

Silver March 09 contract gained by 1.10 per cent at Rs 25,337 per kg, while silver July 08 contract lost by 0.16 per cent to Rs 24,307 per kg. Platinum September 08 contract shed 0.10 per cent to Rs 28,542 per 10 grams, a MCX release said.

Aluminium August 08 contract rose by 1.25 per cent to Rs 136.80 per kg. Lead June 08 contract at Rs 82.20 per kg, shed 1.09 per cent.

Nickel July 08 contract lost by 1.33 per cent to Rs 965 per kg. Zinc August 08 contract was down by 0.88 per cent to Rs 82.15 per kg.

Cardamom August 08 contract and Cardamom July 08 shrank by 2.10 per cent to Rs 601.25 per kg and by 2.50 per cent to Rs 683 per kg respectively. Jute July 08 contract shed 1.16 per cent to Rs 1,586.50, per quintal.

Crude oil September 08 contract was up by 1.95 per cent to Rs 5,879 per barrel, the release added.
