DMW beat Buddha Dal in under-16 cricket

Patiala, Jun 25 (UNI) DMW coaching centre, Patiala, whipped the local Buddha Dal X1 by ten wickets in the first Multipurpose Cricket Challenge Cup (Under-16) here today.

Batting first, Buddha Dal X1 were bundled out for a paltry 84 in 29 overs. Manjit Singh (22) was the only batsman who withstood the fiery DMW bowling attack. Ashish ripped through the DMW batting order, claiming 6 wickets, conceding only five runs.

In reply, DMW posted 85 runs in only 8.1 overs. Harmanjot Singh scored a fluent unbeaten half century (59), while his partner was 18 not out.
