Students Congress appeals for peace
Puducherry, Jun 24 (UNI) The Students Congress in Puducherry today appealed to ministers to sink their differences with Chief Minister N Rangasamy and concentrate on welfare schemes in the interest of the Union Territory.
In a statement here, Students Congress President S Samraj said an unprecedented political situation was prevailing following the differences of opinion between the Chief Minister and five of his cabinet colleagues.
The ministers should sort out the problems through proper dialouge with Chief Minister, he suggested.
Stating that the party activists were dejected over the confrontation between the Chief Minister and Ministers, he said if the situation continued, the Congress would lose its credibility in the Union Territory.
