New Delhi, Jun 24 (UNI) In a major breakthrough, police have arrested a Pakistan trained Harkat-ul-Mujahideen militant carrying a reward of Rs 25,000 on his head from south Delhi's Sarai Kale Khan.
A proclaimed offender, absconding for the past seven years, accused Habib-ur-Rehman alias Babu was apprehended yesterday by the sleuths of a Special Cell from ISBT Sarai Kale Khan, according to the police.
During an interrogation, he disclosed he had visited Pakistan in 1999 and received training in handling AK-47, LMG, hand grenades and assembling improvised explosive devices at Mansera in Pakistan- occupied-Kashmir (PoK).
Investigations revealed that his two associates had been arrested from Delhi with eight kilograms of RDX, some grenades and detonators in 2001.
