Mumbai, Jun 24 (UNI) Maria Monica Susairaj, a Kannada actress and co-accused in the Neeraj Grover murder case, will challenge the lower court's order in the Bombay High Court.
Additional Sessions Judge P H Malli had earlier rejected Susairaj's prayer for a copy of her confessional statement and seeking her presence during hearing of bail application.
Advocate Nitin Pradhan, representing Susairaj, today sought time from Judge Malli for challenging the court order in High Court.
Judge Malli granted time and adjourned the matter till July seven.
Earlier, the court had rejected her petition demanding a copy of her confessional statement and her presence in the court at the time of hearing on her bail application.
She and her boyfriend Jerome Mathew, a Naval officer, had allegedly stabbed Grover with a kitchen knife and then cut the body in 300 pieces. Later, the duo stuffed the body parts into three bags and destroyed them by setting the bags ablaze at Manor in Thane district.
It may be noted that Susairaj allegedly had physical relations with Grover to bag a role in a Hindi teleserial. Grover's company, Synergy Adlabs, was producing Shah Rukh Khan anchored 'Kya Aap Panchvi Pas Se Tez Hai'. Prior to this, he was the creative head of Balaji Telefilms.
