BJP leader blames Centre for agrarian crisis, inflation
Hubli, Jun 24 (UNI) BJP General Secretary H N Anantkumar today accused the UPA Government at the Centre of failing to tackle the problems dogging the farmers, skyrocketing inflation and rise in terrorist activities.
Talking to newspersons here, he said the countdown for the collapse of the UPA Government had begun.
''The famous economists trio -- Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Finance Minister P Chidambaram and Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia-- had spoiled the economy of the country,'' he alleged.
He blamed the Centre for the fertiliser shortage in Karnataka.
Though Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa had personally met the Prime Minister and Fertiliser Minister Ram Vilas Paswan and appealed to them for adequate supply of fertilisers, both the leaders have failed to respond, he alleged.
